Central Pennsylvania Clinic in Belleville, PA has a full-time opening for a Physician (MD/DO) to join their practice as Family Physician and Associate Medical Director. 

“The Clinic’s principal missions are providing primary care, elements of sub-specialty care, and conducting clinical research for special children and adults who suffer from genetic disease. Our patients are mainly drawn from Amish, Mennonite, and English Communities of Central and Western Pennsylvania.”

They are seeking a Family Physician to join the Clinic’s Medical Staff who will serve with the other Clinic physicians and nurses in the care of patients and their families, both in-Clinic and in-home. The job is a unique opportunities for Anabaptists and Mennonite providers seeking a thoughtful integration of faith and vocation through serving Plain and English communities living with the complexities of genetic disease.

The Clinic is located in Belleville, thirty-two miles south of State College, PA and is at the center of the Kishacoquillas “Big” Valley in Mifflin County. Central PA Clinic writes: “The Valley is rural, dappled with family farms, light industry, and small towns. The surrounding mountains and near-by streams, rivers, and lakes offer superb, close-at-hand outdoor recreation in every season.”

Location: Belleville, Pennsylvania Position

Title: Family Physician / Assistant Medical Director

Clinic Governance: Board of Directors – Including members of Anabaptist Churches professing the Dordrecht Confession of Faith (70%); Other Professionals including physicians and scientists (30%)

Job Function: Family Medicine Physician and Medical Director in training

Job Type: Full-Time (Part-Time also available)

Minimum Education: MD/DO

Desired Experience: 2 years or more in practice

Required Travel: Approximately 5 – 20% time including participation in Special Clinics’ Annual Conference, community fundraising events, patient consults, and lectures
