Service Opportunity Announcement
From Eastern Mennonite MissionsHealthcare workers needed in Sierra Leone
Healthcare workers are invited to serve at a mission hospital in a rural village of Sierra Leone. Begun by the United Brethren in Christ Church in the 1940s, the hospital was shut down in the 90s during a period of civil war and reopened in the early 2000s. Today, Eastern Mennonite Missions (EMM) long-term workers are there to provide healthcare and train local staff in best practices. They invite nurses, midwives, ultrasound/X-ray technicians, and administrators to join them for short- and long-term assignments. Find this opportunity on the EMM website, or contact Jimm Derksen to learn more about this and other opportunities.
