Members must meet three criteria:

  • Be part of a healthcare-related discipline or have a special interest in health issues.
  • Embrace Anabaptist values.
  • Support the mission of MHF.

Disciplines may include Chaplains, Dentists, Dietitians, Medical Anthropologists, Medical Ethicists, Medical Researchers, Medical Technologists, Nutritionists, Nurses, Nursing Assistants, Occupational Therapists, Pastoral Counselors, Pharmacists, Physical Therapists, Physicians, Physician Assistants, Psychologists, Public Health Workers, Social Workers, Speech Pathologists, as well as others with health and wellness–related background and credentials.

Anabaptist values are defined by the Shared Convictions statement of Mennonite World Conference.  Members do not need to be members of a Mennonite Church but are highly encouraged to be active in a local congregation.

Mission Statement:  The mission of Mennonite Healthcare Fellowship (MHF) is to be an interdisciplinary community of Anabaptist health professionals that seeks to nurture the integration of faith and practice, provide opportunities for dialogue on health-related issues, and address specific needs through education, advocacy, and service.
