Executive Director to Retire in 2020

Paul Leichty, Executive Director of Mennonite Healthcare Fellowship (MHF), announced to the Board at its October meeting his desire to retire from active employment. The target date is May 1, 2020, with flexibility to serve in a consulting role as needed in a transition period.

Paul has been in this role since September 2011, three months after the founding of MHF. The Board of Directors is forming a Succession Planning Committee under the direction of Board President, Clair Hochstetler, to start meeting in December to search for a successor. In addition to Board members on the committee, the Board would like several additional committed MHF members representing different ages and professions to assist with this process. Meetings would be held via video/telephone conference call.
