Volunteer Chaplain Program

Nazareth Hospital

Nazareth Project (NPI) and Mennonite Mission Network and are collaborating to expand the chaplaincy program and strengthen the spiritual well-being of patients at Nazareth Hospital in Israel.

NPI is a US non-profit that raises funds for special projects at Nazareth Hospital and Nazareth School of Nursing and NPI also facilitates professional and volunteer exchanges. The hospital and school are owned by the Scotland-based Nazareth Trust. The Trust also owns Nazareth Village and SERVE Nazareth.

The expanded chaplaincy program will incorporate volunteer chaplains from Europe and the US. These could be chaplains who are recent graduates, on sabbatical, or who have recently retired. A training for volunteer chaplains who are chosen will be held in Elkhart, Indiana in September, 2020. For more information please contact Howard Good at howardgood@nazarethproject.org
