Building Context: Framing the Five Life Standards for the Healing Professions Project

December 11th, 2021 - 10 am Eastern on Zoom

Have you heard about MHF’s Five Life Standards project?

In 2022, MHF hopes to be a leader in exploring how Anabaptist values inform the healthcare practice and lifestyle of providers and those in the healing professions.

We will use Doris Janzen Longacre’s Five Life Standards from More With Less (©1976 Herald Press.)

The standard are:

Do Justice

Learn from the World Community

Nurture People

Cherish the Natural Order

Non-Conform Freely

Join us for a conversation about the background and context for the Five Life Standards project, how we hope to adapt them to healthcare providers, and hear about our vision for exploring the standards this year in MHF!

We need our MHF members’ voices, testimonies, and wisdom as we explore together these powerful ideas for living a life of faith and how they can also inform our professional callings!

If this topic strongly appeals to you and you would like to be considered for the Steering Committee for the Five Life Standards project, please be in touch with Cate: cate@mennohealth.org.
