Communication Special Interest Group

The Communication SIG guides in the development of communication channels for MHF.

  • Channels include traditional print media sent through postal mail as well as electronic publications and online interactive channels.
  • A high priority is the MHF website which serves as a hub for online communications and a link to past publications.
  • Email lists for the rapid dissemination of information and the facilitation of discussion are also important.
  • To stay in touch with a younger and more mobile generation, MHF plans to offer some interface with social media world such as Facebook and Twitter.

All of these methods will allow members to become more involved, stay informed, and be able to find their niche in MHF.
