Worship at Annual Gathering 2019
Offering Praise and Nurturing our FaithWorship at Annual Gathering 2019
Each plenary session during Annual Gathering 2019 begins with a time of worship including plenty of singing. Angie and Jim Clemens return to Annual Gathering this year after leading worship for the last joint MMA/MNA Convention in 2011 and the first Gathering under MHF in 2012.
Worship Leaders
Angie & Jim Clemens
Dayton, Virginia
Angie Clemens teaches elementary general music in Rockingham County (Virginia) Public Schools. She loves incorporating Orff, Dalcroze, and Kodaly methods to help her students know that they can be music makers and understand the music they hear around them. Angie is a frequent song leader at Community Mennonite Church in Harrisonburg.
Jim Clemens composes a wide range of music, including instrumental solos, choral anthems, and musical theater scores. His stylistic influences include early American folk hymns, jazz, and music by Native North Americans. Jim also works as a music engraver and as an accompanist for ensembles and soloists.
